
The First Annual Pearl Street Pride
Block Party was held July 28 from 6-9pm
in the St. Marks Lutheran Church Parking lot.
Approximately 50 neighbors and invited
guests attended the festivities that
included the official ribbon cutting by Mayor Wittwer, Councilmen
Paul Wattercutter,
Rod Metz and Dave Campbell, Safety-Service Director, Rex Katterheinrich
and Police Chief Dave Webb
that was the official opening of the newly reconstructed East
Pearl Street.
A Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Pastor Tom Roberts
and the congregation of
St. Marks Lutheran Church for the use of their beautiful facilities,
located in the heart of the East Pearl Street Neighborhood.
Henry Anielak, 87, was presented the 'Most Senior Resident' Award
Corrin Wilder was presented the 'Youngest Resident' Award
Duane, Shirley and Kenny Hughes accepted the 'Neighbor Who Has
Lived
on Pearl Street the Longest' Award, and
Mike, Mandy and Corrin Wilder received the 'Newest Residents Award'
We all had a great time, and look
forward to doing it again next year.
